Everyone knows someone affected by heart disease or stroke.
On Sept. 4, 2007 my Father Roland Lewis was unexpectedly taken from his
family & friends due to a massive heart attack. Retired Va State
Police dispatcher 5th Div. He was 75 years old. (

On Sept. 15, 2004 I found my friend Diana Filby lying in her bed as if
she were sleeping. She wasn't, she had died in the early morning hours
from a heart related disease.A waitress at Williamsburg Golden Corral.
She was just 58 years old.
In the summer of 2007 my neighbor was taken from her house &
hospitalized due to a stroke. She will never see her yard, flowers,
home or personal belongings she had collected for many years again. A
Navy widow. She is in her mid 70's.
I have set a personal goal to raise funds for the American Heart
